Kimono are a traditional Japanese style of clothing, but have you ever tried mixing it with Western clothing to create a unique (and warm!) new look? Come join us at the event to be dressed in authentic, antique kimono by a professional kimono instructor and take a walk around town in your East meets West style!
This time, we will host the Kimono Stroll event in Kiryu, the traditional city of textiles! The city has many historic buildings and sights to see, which can create picturesque backgrounds for photos.
Since it is the first Saturday of the month, the antique market at the Kiryu Tenmangu Shrine will also be taking place! This market is famous for having antique kimono, short coats for kimonos, and other Japanese style accessories for very reasonable prices. Come look to see if you can find something with your name on it!
Women of all nationalities and cultures are welcome at our event! You are welcome to come join us with a group of friends or independently as well.
This is the perfect opportunity to wear an authentic, antique kimono and also discover the sights and deals Kiryu has to offer.
